About the project

About DiseasesConditions.org

An independent medical reference built around evidence, transparent sourcing and visible clinical input.

Mission & scope

Why this project exists

DiseasesConditions.org is an independent health information project covering diseases, conditions, medicines and related treatment topics. It is designed to make medical reference content easier to navigate, easier to verify, and more useful in real life.

Our articles combine evidence-based reference material with visible input from practising clinicians. The goal is not only to summarize guidelines, but also to preserve practical observations that can help readers understand how conditions are recognized, discussed and managed in clinical settings.

The project is international by design. Medical contributors may work in different specialties, countries and health systems, and some articles may include input from more than one clinician.

How we work

Evidence first, clinical perspective second.

1

Build the reference

Editors prepare structured articles using current, attributable medical sources.

2

Clinical review

Relevant clinicians review medical accuracy and add observations from practice where useful.

3

Editorial reconciliation

Corrections are incorporated and selected clinician observations may be published with attribution.

4

Keep it current

Material is revisited when important guidance, evidence or safety information changes.

Medical Editorial Board

The clinicians behind our medical review

Reviewer profiles show clinical background, relevant credentials and published review activity. Articles are linked back to the clinician who completed the medical review.
