About the event
Hosted by the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives, the conference was the federation’s first regional meeting in West Africa. The organiser’s subsequent account confirms that participants discussed education, clinical standards, regulatory systems, healthcare technology and workforce pressures.
The event combined research presentations with exchanges among professionals from the region and beyond. A Nigerian health-ministry report also documents the opening ceremony on 21 April at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Center.
