About the event

The three-day meeting connected clinicians, educators, researchers and policymakers through keynote lectures, thematic forums and practical workshops. Charles Telfair's retrospective confirms the completed event and reports more than 200 participants and over 50 speakers at the opening.

Its broad clinical and health-system agenda encouraged exchange across disciplines. The official overview identifies the Faculty of Education and Health Sciences as the organizing faculty and places the symposium within the Charles Telfair–Curtin educational partnership.

Topics and programme

Forums addressed stroke rehabilitation, critical-care teamwork, health economics and youth mental health.
Further subjects included digital care, neurodivergence, women's health, ambulatory surgery, paediatrics, palliative care, cardiac surgery and elderly care.
Workshops covered supervision and nursing education, airway management, paediatric safety, end-of-life ethics, neurological assessment and cardiac resuscitation.
